Who We Are

Welcome to our website!

Under the guidance and leadership of Steve Kochan, the Rock Hall Sailing Club was established in 1989 at The Sailing Emporium in Rock Hall, Maryland.

Our Club by-laws describe its purpose:

"To encourage, promote and administer amateur sail and power boating activities throughout the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries."

The Sailing Emporium remains our homeport, though our members are scattered throughout the adjacent marinas and beyond. Our activities include cruises, informal club races and a variety of social events. Children are welcomed, and many Club events include activities specifically for their enjoyment.

    • Were glad to have a full complement of executive committee members and are looking forward to another wonderful sailing, cruising, racing and socializing season on the Bay.
